About the Ministry

• Light and Truth Ministries was founded in March 1997 when Bible Teacher and Author, Everest John Alexander received the Call of God to enter full-time ministry after 8 years of faithful service at his home church.

• He began a weekly Bible Study with his wife and two kids, teaching them the word of God at their home in Belmont, Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

• From those humble beginnings the ministry grew into a small church which he and his wife pastored for 4 years before migrating to the USA in 2001.

• After migrating to the USA he subsequently took his Teaching Ministry online where he now teaches the word of God globally via, multiple media formats.

The purpose of Light and Truth Ministries is enshrined in it's three fundamental aspects:

• It's Philosophy
• It's Vision
• It's Mission
  

The Philosophy, Vision and Mission of the Ministry are outlined below.

•  The Cornerstone Philosophy of Light and Truth Ministries is that, all Religions are man-made, infused with the frailties of men, and therefore, doomed to fail as a means of eternal salvation.

• True Bible Christianity is NOT a Religion... it never was and never will be.

• True Bible Christianity is the restoration of the Kingdom of God on earth. It is established through a blood covenant made by God and ratified by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

• This Covenant is entered into by any individual who recognizes they are a sinner who needs a Savior. 

• This sinner will then repent, which is to turn away from rebellion to God, living life on their own terms, how they see fit. They will return to God in humility, submission and obedience to His Will for their life.

• They will ask God to forgive all their sins and cleanse them from everything that offends Him.

• They will confess that they believe Jesus Christ is God's Son who died upon the cross in their place, to pay for their sins. They will confess that Jesus was buried and rose from the dead 3 days later with the power to completely save, heal and deliver them.

• While confessing these truths this person will open their heart to receive the Holy Spirit of God who will enter and make His permanent home in them.

• Upon this confession, God will forgive them, recreate a brand new spirit within them, seal them with His Holy Spirit who will begin sanctifying and conforming them to the image of Christ daily, for His own Honor and Glory.

• This... is what becoming a Christian is. If you have not experienced this... you are NOT a Christian!

• There is a false christianity popularized by the Roman Catholic Organization which is indeed a religion practiced by millions.

• This religion is christian in name only, it is based on salvation by works, it is tainted with the world and devoid of any true divine power.

• It is a dangerous deception, leading the ignorant into a false sense of security while guaranteeing their eternity in hell, if they do not recover themselves through a correct understanding of justification by faith and repentance toward God.

• The essence of REAL Bible Christianity is a relationship with God through Jesus Christ as the ONLY Mediator.

• Real Bible Christianity is entered into through a divine, supernatural experience called the New Birth. To become a true, Bible Christian you have to be born into the Family of God... You MUST be Born Again, according to  John 3:7.

• You cannot "Join" Christianity. If you did, then you joined the religious counterfeit... Not True, Bible Christianity.

• Real Bible Christianity begins with a divine, supernatural Act of God and must be lived by the same divine, supernatural power of God.  

• If you're trying to do it based on your own understanding and power, you're doing it wrong!

• The Vision of Light and Truth Ministries is to biblically equip The Body of Christ with the spiritual and natural tools to competently engage and dispossess the enemy.

• To prepare Christians to positively impact their communities for the glory of God, through a biblically revolutionary lifestyle.

• To transform societies to resemble the culture of Heaven, and in so doing, fulfill Jesus' Great Commission to go and teach all Nations, occupying till He comes. 

• The Mission of Light and Truth Ministries is to "Feed the Nations with the Word of God."

• This incorporates the preaching of The Gospel to the World and teaching the Principles of the Kingdom of God to The Church.

• This preaching and teaching is to be done publicly or privately, in one-on-ones or group meetings, in the flesh or online, utilizing any legitimate means necessary, e.g. Video, Audio, Texts, Graphics, etc.
